Lidgard's was established by Jim Lidgard in 1973 and soon became the supplier of sails to TEAM NZ, being the only sailmaker in history to help them gain and retain the Americas Cup.

Our Shade Sails are made from quality heavy duty 330 GSM shade fabric and are known for being tough high-quality custom built shades that stand up New Zealand’s wild weather conditions.
We do not provide a cheap poor quality product.
We use only 316 Marine grade stainless steel wire to reinforce our sails, which unlike webbing reinforced shades will not sag and become a hammock like overtime.
