This Gearbox was designed to help aid in the maneuverability of the cleaner which is vital to the cleaning process. The job that this part takes on is to allow the cleaner to switch its direction from going forward to reverse when the cleaner gets stuck in a corner or when it reaches the top of the waters surface so that way it can makes it way back into the pool.
This part is Black and again is made up of several other parts and attaches itself to the bottom of the Chassis via the Bracket Support making it easy to locate and replace.
