Warnings first:  What you see in the picture is what you get. the PVC device and the L ring seal.
1.  These are 3D printed parts treated for improved strength. However, overtightening the parts by use of the hex nut and wrench could DRAMATICALLY improve the chances of failure. The hex nut is only for untightening with a wrench. Tighten manually and untighten with the wrench if you overtighten it and cannot untighten with the bare hands.
2.  Always use some form of plumbing tape, Teflon tape or monster tape to prevent leaks.
3.  USE The INTEX L  RINGS part #11228 - you can find them on ebay, they are pricey but they are the best. The seals I may provide when available may not do such a good job. I have had mixed results.
3.  The 2 inch PVC ball valves at the big box store are very tight and tough to open and close - you need to make sure that your setup does NOT allow  the forces to transfer to the PVC pipe coupler or the rest of your water circuit setup when opening and closing the Valve. Make sure you have additional reinforcement holding the VALVE on a separate skeleton.

You will need monster tape, teflon tape and the intex L rings to create proper seals.
In addition I also recommend the PVC ball valves 2 inch for pools rather than the PVC 2 inch ball valves. because they open and close much easier than the PVC ball valves at the big box store. You can use the ones at the big box store but you will have to secure them properly so that the forces are not transferred to your connectors when you open or shut off the valves. The valves require quite a bit of force and they need to be secured on an additional skeleton to prevent breakage of your piping system or connectors.

Some people usually replace the 1.25 hose to intex 1.5 inch hoses by cutting into the reinforceced pool liner and replacing the embedded tubes with the intex valves and then they connect the intex 1.5 inch hoses to the valves. These connectors can help replace the intex hoses fully or partially depending on your needs. But as you may see in the pictures these intex to PVC 2 inch connectors help to remove the dependency on the Intex Tee split hose

that some people use. When you use these you can use PVC all the way, if you purchase 5 of these. In addition you can use PVC ball valves to open and close the water cycle if you need to service the system,
This is PVC 2 inch connector that can connect directly to your Pool pump by threading it in. And you can use the PVC 2 Inch pieces to build your piping the way you see fit.
This PVC 2 Inch connector can connect from the pump to a 2 Inch PVC ball valve or any other 2 inch threaded piece. The purpose of this is to eliminate completely the Intex 1.5 Inch Hoses or partially.
IN addition this was designed with disassembly in mind in case you need to service your setup you can unthread the pieces and modify or service your setup.
